Class I Bicycle / Shared Use Path
- One or two-way bike facility which is physically separated from the roadway
- For two-way paths, generally 10-12’ wide with shoulders
- Provides a high level of safety and comfort
Class II Bicycle Lanes
• Typically are 5-6’ in width & may or may not include a striped buffer between the bicyclist & motor vehicles
